Dvardala is the perfect axe for hunting and forest living. It is a combination of several different axe types, ideal for a day in the woods when you may need to handle a wide range of challenges. It has the same type of head as the Hultafors Aby axe, but the handle is shorter - 440 mm  which makes the axe easier to carry, for example in a backpack. The shorter handle also makes it easier to work with the axe close to the body. The axe is suitable for precision work such as carving or building shelters, campfires, and other things around camp. This is thanks to the hand notch at the base of the head and the wide flat bevel. The notch allows you to grip around the head and control the axe with maximum precision. The edge is semi-straight with flatter sides, allowing the axe to rest firmly against the workpiece when cutting along the length of a piece of wood. However, it is still curved enough for the axe to be used for lighter forestry work, such as clearing a trail or fire line. The head is slightly thicker above the cheeks, which provides good splitting capability, so you can split firewood. Dvardala is a gift that hunters everywhere will appreciate and of course it can also be used for field dressing game. The axe is hand-forged at Hults Bruk according to the tradition since 1697. The head weighs a nominal 0.7 kg and is made from Swedish CO2-neutral axe steel. The semi-straight edge has a premium Scandinavian grind, polished, razor-sharp, and ready to use. The axe has a curved, narrow handle with a pronounced end knob for a more secure grip. The sheath is made in Sweden from calf leather. The leather is vegetable-tanned full-grain for the best possible durability, and the natural treatment means it will age beautifully with wear. The axe is named after Dvardala, an old name for a forest area north of Hults Bruk. This is where the Kolmården forest begins, and from Borgar mountain in Dvardala you have a fantastic view over the area, which is known for good game and wild boar hunting. Take care of your axe and it will be a faithful companion for many years to come. We are very proud of the craftsmanship and quality of our axes and give you a lifetime warranty on the axe head.

Описанието отговаря, но очаквах по-голям размер. Иначе е ОК.
