Limited edition with a 1960s-inspired look.
The "Prepared Citizen Classic" backpack is specifically designed for concealed carry and ballistic protection, while still looking like an ordinary "lifestyle" backpack so it does not draw attention. The rearmost "secret" compartment can be used for CCW, tablets, securing important travel documents while traveling, or for adding a ballistic panel (not included).
The current version 2.0, introduced in October 2019, is the second limited edition of this exceptionally popular backpack and was produced in a total quantity of 2,000 units: 300 in black, 750 in wolf gray, 650 in dark blue, and 300 in OD green.
4 main differences compared to the previous version:
- The large central Maxpedition logo has been omitted for a more low-profile appearance
A 2" x 3.75" loop field replaces the logo for adding morale / ID patches
Hook-and-loop keepers have been added to manage loose shoulder strap webbing
The backpack strap attachment points to the pack have been improved for strength
Like the earlier version, the Prepared Citizen Classic v2.0 has a total capacity of 22 L with a fully lined, dual-side-access concealed carry compartment. It is built exceptionally tough with Teflon-coated 1000-denier nylon fabric, YKK zippers, Duraflex buckles, carefully reinforced construction, and the high level of quality, fit, and finish you have come to expect from all Maxpedition products.
