MAXPEDITION’s Proteus Versipack transforms from a hand-carried storage case into a self-contained butt pack in less than 5 seconds.
Named after a mythological character who could take on many shapes and forms, the Proteus Versipack (#0402) provides a herculean 285 cu. in. of organized storage space and can be worn like a waist pack, carried by hand, attached to MAXPEDITION backpacks, or integrated with ALICE or MOLLE webbing. Equipped with compression straps that snap into the integrated handle to secure the contents and three rows of nylon webbing attachment points to accommodate modular accessories, this is one piece of gear you must have before setting out on your odyssey.
The Proteus can also be used as a pouch, attaching to Maxpedition or PALS webbing with a pair of 5" TacTie™ (sold separately).
