The cap, via a silicone O-ring, seals the internal compartment airtight, where various types of tinder can be stored.

Replaceable ferrocerium core that produces a spark even when wet. The temperature of the resulting spark reaches up to 3000 degrees C.
To produce a spark, the ferrocerium rod must be sharply scraped with the spine of a knife or another type of metal striker.
The set includes the fire starter, a cardboard box, a nylon lanyard, and an additional O-ring.
