Buck 110 Folding Hunter
Buck 110 Folding Hunter
BRKBU110
Buck 110 Folding Hunter is the traditional favorite.
Created as a model in 1963 by Al Buck, who decided that a revolutionary folding knife was needed for people spending a lot of time outdoors who did not want to carry a fixed-blade knife. He was right, and the result became the key to the company's future.
The challenge for the manufacturer was to combine the strengths of other locking folding knives in a good-looking and reliable product. After a series of refinements, model 110 was finally introduced and remained the hottest product in the industry for 6 months.
More than 50 years later, the Buck 110 Folding Hunter is still one of the best-selling knives in America.
As originally introduced in the 1960s, the Buck 110 is still offered with a genuine ebony wood handle. Crelicam ebony is ethically sourced and is the result of efforts to replant the rainforests of the Congo Basin, while providing Buck knives with a genuine hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible.
420HC is Buck's standard blade material. This steel approaches the wear resistance of high-carbon alloys while providing the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. The added heat treatment and hardening to 58HRC allow for easy sharpening while delivering both strength and corrosion resistance.
