The blade of the Mantis is made from ELMAX steel and has a flat grind. The knife is in pikal style, with a bird-beak blade profile, a long and narrow cutting edge, and a fully accessible flipper for fast, ambidextrous one-handed opening.

The blade is housed in an exceptionally refined, ergonomic handle. Ultem is a great handle material option. Ultem has a distinctive honey-amber color, and when placed in direct light, it appears to glow. In terms of performance, Ultem significantly outperforms other materials commonly used for knife handles. Ultem is stronger, harder, lighter, and more wear-resistant. What does that mean for users? No matter how firmly you grip it, it will not bend. Even if you carry the knife for years, you will not see wear on the pivot or the handle texture.
