The original CJRB Pyrite was a huge success as a versatile, affordably priced EDC with a fast button lock. Some even called it the best budget knife to date. And although they did not want to tamper with perfection, they decided to tweak the formula a little. 
The Pyrite-Aficionado features a modified Wharncliffe blade and a blade slot instead of the original thumb stud, for those looking for a more convenient user experience. It comes with AR-RPM9 steel and a steel and G10 handle, which will surely satisfy fans of the original model. Thanks to the ceramic ball bearings, operating the knife is a pleasure in any situation, and the stainless steel pocket clip allows you to easily attach it to your belt or pocket.
