Glauca G1 is the evolution of the Glauca model. It is equipped with specific features designed especially for the renowned GSG9 division, a special unit of the Bundespolizei, which officially adopted it. The handle, made of anodized anticorodal aluminum in Tactical Mud color, is equipped with a tungsten carbide glass breaker. The clip can be adjusted to three different positions (one of which is front carry). On the back there is a stainless steel marlin spike for knots, which can be locked in the open position, as well as a folding rescue tool for cutting straps and belts.
The blade locking system is a LINER-LOCK, with an additional second safety mechanism operated manually. The drop point blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with the classic black Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 finish.
