The Expedition series, the new range of tools designed for professional explorers, welcomes the folding knife RAO II Expeditions.

Knives from the Expedition series offer the same reliability and high quality as every other Extrema Ratio tactical tool supplied to military special forces and law enforcement agencies. RAO II Expeditions is a tool which, thanks to its construction and despite its compact size, guarantees the same functionality and characteristics as a much larger and sturdier product.

With a desert-colored handle and sheath, like every other model in the Expedition series. It features a BÖHLER N690 steel blade (58HRC) with a polished MIL-C-13924 and stonewashed DARK STONE finish. RAO II Expeditions has ergonomic handle scales with rounded upper corners and a Drop Point blade.

It is inspired by the RAO model with a tanto blade used by the Italian 185° Rgt. The new folding knife from the Expedition series can easily be used for heavy-duty tasks and, thanks to its extremely robust locking mechanism, which is reinforced by a safety device that effectively turns it into a suitable fixed blade.

It has a threaded steel pin that is manually screwed through two holes in the guard area of the solid Anticorodal aluminum handle; this was added to guarantee 100% resistance of the locking mechanism under heavy use and the force of impacts caused by the mass of the tool. Maximum user safety is guaranteed by screwing the pin into this hole.

All models from the Expeditions series are equipped with desert-colored sheaths and ferrocerium fire starters for starting a fire. RAO II Expeditions is no exception and comes with a desert Cordura sheath, which is a key component of the carry system.

This special sheath allows you to carry the knife with the blade closed by placing it in the special front pocket, or with the blade open by placing it in the dedicated compartment, which has a safety system consisting of a strap with double clips. In addition to the ferrocerium fire starter, there is also a diamond sharpener. The sheath's MOLLE attachment system allows it to be carried on tactical vests and standard belts.
