The Expedition Series is a new range of tools designed for professional explorers.

The knives in the Expedition Series offer the same reliability and high quality as every other Extrema Ratio tactical tool supplied to military special forces and law enforcement agencies.

Selvans Expeditions was developed through a collaboration between Extrema Ratio and Master Advanced Instructor Daniele Dal Canto. It is the result of a modification of the ONTOS – a military survival knife – intended to improve its efficiency as a civilian tool.

 With a BÖHLER N690 steel blade (58HRC) with a polished MIL-C-13924 and stonewashed DARK STONE finish.

The longer handle and heavier blade allow for improved chopping and cutting performance. It comes with a Desert Cordura MOLLE-compatible sheath, a safety thigh strap, a mini pouch containing paracord with a combustible strand that can be used in emergencies and/or harsh weather conditions, and a ferro rod fire starter for lighting a fire.
