The OK1 is a robust and powerful knife designed for a variety of outdoor applications. The blade features a Scandi grind and is made from Japanese carbon steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. A solid type of steel that you can easily sharpen yourself. It is not stainless steel, so be careful with moisture and acids despite the anti-corrosion electrophoretic coating that protects against rust. The spine of the blade is sharpened to ensure easy use with a ferro rod. 
The substantial handle is made of polypropylene, and the sheath has a durable textile loop that allows attachment to belts up to 80 mm wide. 
Hultafors OK1 is a great budget option for bushcraft, survival, and other outdoor hobbies.
