Nearly 20 years after its first release, the Makora is back! 

This classic Microtech OTF knife has been revived with an updated 

design and improved technology. Although it looks very 

similar to the Microtech Ultratech, it boasts some subtle 

and some major differences. It is slightly thicker, slightly 

lighter, and features a tapered handle and an updated glass breaker. 

Contoured nickel-plated inserts are inlaid on both sides of the handle 

to improve grip, and at the bottom of the handle they have openings 

that work with the jimping at the base of the blade to make it faster-acting under 

water. The knife's action is enhanced by nickel-boron internal 

components, which have reduced friction, improving 

consistency. This new Makora shows how far Microtech has come 

and proves their dedication to tradition.
