Professional headlamp, 3 operating modes

The Pixa 3 headlamp by Petzl offers a choice of different beam patterns: for close-range lighting, walking, or long-distance illumination.

• The headlamp keeps your hands free for the job. It can be worn on the head using the elastic headband, attached to a helmet, or placed on the ground.
• Mounting plate for attaching to a helmet without the headband (included with the headlamp).
• Three operating modes:
- mode adapted for close-range work: wide and uniform beam, illuminating up to 15 meters for 12 hours (30 lumens),
- mode suitable for moving around the work area: focused beam allowing easy movement, illuminates up to 30 meters for 6 hours (40 lumens),
- mode adapted for long-distance lighting: highly focused beam, illuminating up to 55 meters for 3 hours (50 lumens).
• Constant lighting output: brightness performance does not decrease throughout the stated operating time, even as the batteries are depleted.
• "Reserve" lighting mode switches on when the batteries are nearly depleted: illuminates up to 15 meters for at least 10 hours.
• The headlamp is easy to use even while wearing gloves:
- rotary selector knob for choosing between the three modes,
- the lamp body can be angled in the desired direction (rotates up to 45°),
- quick and easy battery replacement.
• Very durable headlamp:
- exceptional resistance to drops (from two meters), impacts, and compression (80 kg),
- storage position to protect the lens and prevent accidental activation.
• Comfortable adjustable elastic headband, easy to remove for washing.
• Battery discharge indicator via flashing red light.
• Waterproof to -1 m for 30 minutes (IP 67), with no maintenance required after immersion in water.
• Operates on 2 AA/LR6 batteries (included), compatible with alkaline batteries, rechargeable Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries, and lithium batteries.
