Leland VCI Corrosion Resistant Bags

Set of three nylon bags with layered corrosion inhibitors on the inside.

Inside the bag, a volatile layer is created that surrounds the metal item and forms a protective molecular layer.

As they evaporate, the volatile components on the inside of the bag are attracted to the metal components due to their polar orientation. The corrosion inhibitor molecules arrange themselves on the metal surfaces to a depth of 3 to 5 molecules, migrating into recesses. This layer of molecules on the charged surface creates a barrier that prevents oxidation.

When removed from the bag, the items are ready for use without being greasy or having any residual odor.

An extremely popular corrosion protection method used worldwide to prevent rust on nuts, bolts, hand tools, lures, knives, hooks, and CO2 cartridges.

The corrosion-resistant properties typically last 2-3 years.
