Prandi Linseed Oil 250ml 771200

Prandi Linseed Oil 250ml 7.712.00

Prandi Linseed Oil is a high-quality linseed oil specially designed for the maintenance and protection of wooden tool handles such as axes, tomahawks, and knives. It is an official accessory from the renowned Italian axe brand Prandi Axes.

Key features and benefits:

Universal for quality hardwoods: The oil is perfectly optimized for treating the most popular durable wood species used for handles, such as hickory (Hickory), ash (Ash), and beech (Beech).

Deep penetration and protection: Instead of creating a surface layer that can peel or crack, the oil penetrates deep into the wood pores. This protects the handle from moisture, drying out, rot, and premature aging.

It comes in a convenient 250 ml bottle, which is fully sufficient for repeated maintenance of an entire arsenal of tools.

How to use for best results:
Preparation:
The surface of the wooden handle must be clean, dry, and finely sanded with sandpaper to open the pores.
Application:
Apply a thin coat of the oil using a clean cotton cloth or brush.
Absorption:
Leave it to absorb for about 15–20 minutes, then be sure to wipe off completely any excess that has not been absorbed.
Drying:
Leave the tool to dry in a well-ventilated place. If necessary (for example on a new, untreated handle), the process can be repeated after 24 hours.
Origin: Italy
!!! IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE !!! : Rags or cloths soaked with linseed oil may spontaneously combust while drying due to the chemical oxidation process. After use, always wash them thoroughly with water and soap or spread them out to dry outdoors on a non-flammable surface!
