IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE USE!
MINI WATER PURIFICATION FILTER does not remove viruses.
Never use the Mini Water Filter to filter seawater or
chemically contaminated water, as well as water from mine tailings
or near large agricultural cooperatives. Mini Water Filter does not
produce potable water from these sources and does not remove chemicals and
radioactive materials or particles smaller than 0.01 microns.
Do not use in freezing conditions (frozen Hollow Fiber Membrane
can lead to microorganism bypass)
Do not filter any substance or liquid other than water through
your Mini Water Filter.
Filter Integrity Test:
If you suspect that your MINI WATER PURIFICATION FILTER may have been damaged in
any way, you can perform this quick and easy integrity test.
1. Squeeze 0.5 liters of fresh water through the Mini Water Filter
(IMPORTANT: The integrity test only works with a wet Hollow Fiber Membrane.)
2. Try blowing air with your mouth through the bottle connection opening.
2.1 If you cannot blow through the filter, the membrane is intact.
2.2 If you can blow through the filter DO NOT USE THIS FILTER!
Disinfect the MINI WATER PURIFICATION FILTER before long-term storage to prevent microbial growth in the membrane.
A) Fill a 0.5-liter container with filtered or treated water and
add 1 purification tablet (Aquatabs, Micropur MP1, or Micropur Forte).
(wait 30 min.)
B) Pour the solution into the foldable bottle from the set.
Close the system by screwing on the cap.
C) Squeeze all the water through the Hollow Fiber Membrane.
D) Allow the components to air dry completely before assembling
the system again.
Note: When removing the Mini Water Filter from long-term storage,
rinse the system with 2 liters of filtered or purified water to
remove any residual taste. The lifespan of the Hollow Fiber
Membrane depends on water quality. To extend the life of your
Hollow Fiber Membrane, clean it regularly.
METHODS FOR USING THE MINI WATER PURIFICATION FILTER
Direct water suction.
1. Submerge the straw in the water about 4-8 cm.
2. Blow air through it
3. Gently suck water.
(Drink slowly with small sips to avoid air bubbles)
4. Blow out the straw after use to keep it clean and prevent
clogging.
Connecting to a bottle.
1. Fill the bottle with the water you want to filter.
2. Screw the filter onto the neck.
3. Invert and squeeze into a cup.
Connecting to hydration systems and gravity-fed water tanks.
1. Fill the system with the water you want to filter.
2. Vent the output tube and connect it to the filter.
