Ochsenkopf Aluminium Oval Twisted Splitting Wedge
High-quality forged aluminium splitting wedge. The oval shape is exceptionally practical, providing a large striking surface and minimizing glancing blows. More efficient splitting thanks to the 30-degree twist. Grooves, barbs, and teeth on each face ensure that the wedge will not spring out of hard or frozen wood. It was awarded the 2012 Federal Ministry for the Environment (Germany) prize for forestry technology.
