This is the first knife made by Hoyt Buck in 1902, from a worn-out file. When the U.S. government asked for donated knives for the military after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1942, Hoyt Buck began handcrafting knives in a church basement, and 40 years later revived the design in this Special 119.
