The Pyrite uses a combination of a locking mechanism and ceramic ball bearings to make this knife quick to open and always ready in hand.
The smooth action allows the blade to be opened one-handed by pressing the lock button or using the thumb stud. The blade is made from AR-RPM9, a proprietary steel comparable to D2 steel, with the advantage of better corrosion resistance. The stonewashed steel handle is comfortable to grip and fits well in the hand.
