It is a real challenge to make a double-edged knife strong and durable enough to meet Cold Steel’s standards, but their Drop Forged Wasp exceeded all their expectations. As you can see, there is nothing that can break, loosen, or wear out. Its monolithic construction makes the blade, guard, and tang one integral piece. Only the handle scales are an “add-on,” and they can be replaced quickly and easily in the very unlikely event that they break or wear out. Perfectly balanced, with a sturdy yet sharp needle point and a wasp waist profile, the Wasp is a frighteningly effective knife that is almost bombproof! It comes with an excellent Secure-Ex sheath. It is light enough to carry all day and will certainly last a lifetime if reasonably maintained.
