The Cold Steel Espada is inspired by the classic Spanish Navaja knives, yet it is thoroughly modern in both appearance and materials. This mega-folder took the market by storm! Equipped with the patented Demko Thumb Plate, the Espada Large and Espada XL Large can be opened simply as you draw them from your pocket. The beautiful blades of the Espada are made from Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel. Every Espada is equipped with the patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven for its incredible shock resistance and strength. In its own famously brutal product testing, the XL Espada not only managed to withstand 600 pounds of freely hanging weight, but was even used to support a hanging engine block!
