Cold Steel SRK CPM 3V 38CKE
Cold Steel SRK CPM 3V 38CKE
BRKCS38CKE
Cold Steel SRK 38CKE is a very solid and durable fixed blade knife. SRK stands for Search and Rescue Knife, and as such, this survival knife will never let you down.
The blade is made from CPM 3V steel, a tool steel known for its exceptional toughness. It is very difficult to break and also retains its edge well. You should still be careful with moisture and acids, however: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. Be sure to clean it after use and apply a drop of oil from time to time to keep this knife in excellent condition.
The 5 mm blade is relatively thick. Even so, because it has a very finely ground cutting edge, it performs incredibly well. This is a healthy balance between cutting performance and strength. The Kray-Ex handle offers a good grip, even in wet conditions. The solid Secure-Ex sheath is secured with an additional retention strap, so you can be sure you won’t lose the knife.
