The Contractor is made using the latest advances in modern metallurgy - robust 5 mm Pop's ProCut steel. ProCut is the latest durable, edge-retaining, easy-to-take-impact invention by Dr. Larrin Thomas, the brilliant mind behind CPM-MagnaCut. ProCut competes with MagnaCut in field and durability tests, not only performing exceptionally where it matters most, but also demonstrating outstanding impact resistance, lateral strength, edge sharpness, and edge retention.

The Contractor also features a redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, offering an improved, hassle-free fit with multiple carry options, including horizontal, vertical, MOLLE, and beltless carry. 

The GEN 2 sheath also supports precision-milled, interchangeable handle clips, enhancing the versatility of the Summit.

All Dawson knife models have an individual serial number on the blade. This serial number, along with the name of the knife maker, is noted in the accompanying certificate of authenticity.
