Spyderco Shaman CPM-SPY27 Cobalt Blue G10 C229GPCBL
ASPC229GPCBL
Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries, CPM-SPY27 is a cobalt-enriched stainless steel that enhances the time-tested chemistry of Japanese VG-10 with the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. This state-of-the-art method extracts maximum performance from the steel by reducing alloy segregation and ensuring a fine, homogeneous microstructure. Proprietary to Spyderco, this high-performance blade material is known for its ability to become “sticky sharp” while balancing edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Every knife made from this steel also features a distinctive cobalt blue handle color that highlights its elite pedigree.
