MagnaCut is the new superstar among CPM stainless steels because it offers toughness and edge retention similar to the best non-stainless steels such as CPM-CruWear and CPM-4V. Unlike them, however, it even surpasses CPM 20CV in corrosion resistance and comes just below the exceptional rust resistance of Vanax or LC200N. The carbide structure of MagnaCut is much finer than that of most powder metallurgy stainless steels, which means an unusually high level of sharpness can be achieved.
