Crafted from premium, American-made CPM-MagnaCut stainless steel, the Nomad features a 3.75" blade that is exceptionally resistant to corrosion and staining. Thanks to our proprietary special heat treatment, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other high-end steels.       

MagnaCut is the new superstar among CPM stainless steels because it offers toughness and edge retention comparable to top-performing steels like CPM-CruWear and CPM-4V. Unlike them, however, it even surpasses CPM 20CV in corrosion resistance and comes close to the exceptional rust resistance of Vanax or LC200N. MagnaCut's carbide structure is much finer than that of most powder metallurgy stainless steels, which means an unusually high level of sharpness can be achieved.
