Svord Von Tempsky Ranger VTR

A fully functional replica of the original knife based on Von Tempsky's 1863 design, developed for the needs of the "Forest Rangers". The Forest Rangers were an elite corps of scouts employed by the colonial government between August 1863 and October 1867 during the New Zealand Wars. An experienced fighter and adventurer, Von Tempsky introduced and trained the rangers to use the knife in combat against the Maori while holding a revolver in the other hand.

The knife is made from high-quality Swedish carbon steel, with a hardwood handle and a leather sheath.

There are small holes in the handle and guard that allow the knife to be easily and securely attached to a pole.

As the blade is made of carbon steel, it requires care, including drying and oiling, to prevent the formation of oxidation stains and rust.
