Modern Gladius is a shorter version of the classic Roman weapon depicted in films such as „Gladiator“. It is made from 1095 carbon steel, 4.8 mm thick, with a black traction coating. The blade is designed to be excellent for thrusting and cutting. The light brown Micarta handle is very slightly tapered toward the guard to help lock your hand in place. It comes with a black Kydex sheath with a leather dangler for easy carry.
