Originally created to provide a medium-to-large tool for use by a specialized anti-rhino-poaching unit in Africa, its design is outstanding and has served many people across several continents. Over time, designer Anton realized that he did not always need such a large knife strapped to his thigh. That is exactly how the Silent Hero 4 was born. The handle and blade shape of the original full-size knife were perfect for a wide variety of tasks. By scaling them down, you get a knife that is much more comfortable for everyday carry, while still remaining long enough to handle most cutting tasks. Although the appearance of this smaller version is essentially the same, there are a few differences. The blade is slightly thinner at 3.3 mm instead of 4.8 mm. The finish is Sniper Gray Cerakote instead of Black River Wash. In addition, the knife comes with a Kydex sheath instead of natural leather. So whether you are looking for a companion blade to your Silent Hero, or simply prefer a blade length of around 4 inches instead of 6 inches, the Silent Hero 4 will be an excellent addition to your collection.
