TOPS Tanimboca Puukko Rocky Mountain TPUK01RMT
BRKTPTPUK01RMT
The style of "puukko" knives is of Scandinavian origin. Over the years, they have remained largely unchanged. Their characteristic features are a blade with a Scandi grind and a rounded wooden handle. Most do not have a finger guard, which allows the hand to get as close to the blade as possible during use for maximum control and cutting precision. The simple puukko design is practical and intuitive and has definitely stood the test of time.
Tops Tanimboca Puukko is a collaborative design by TOPS Knives and Goran Mihajlovic.
Goran is Serbian, grew up in Germany, and for the last 20 years has lived in his own nature park, "Tanimboca," in Colombia. In recent years, he started making knives in his forge in the jungle. The Puukko is his preferred knife style because of its ability to handle a wide variety of cutting tasks equally well.
Tanimboca Puukko blends the traditional elements of the puukko with the TOPS style. The knife sits deep in a beautiful leather sheath, which also makes it possible to carry it around the neck with an additional cord.
