Casstrom Lapland Leather Wax provides protection and weather resistance for your leather cases, sheaths, and holsters, ensuring that they retain their stiffness and shape. Other similar pastes, waxes, and oils available on the market are best suited for leather goods that need to be softened to maintain their flexibility, such as boots, saddles, and gloves. They make the leather supple - these products risk weakening leather items that are molded to a specific shape to fit what they are intended to protect, such as a knife.

The natural leather paste from Lapland, Casstrom Lapland Leather Wax, is Casström's own blend of mainly natural products such as beeswax, carnauba wax, and neatsfoot oil. Apply the paste with a piece of cloth directly onto the leather. Leave to dry for approx. 30 minutes and polish the surface with a clean piece of cloth. For best results, you may polish again after 24 hours. The leather will now have a protective layer that makes the surface resistant to dirt and moisture. Reapply when necessary, or at least a few times a year. Light-colored leather may become slightly darker after use, and matte leather may become glossier. Close the tin tightly to prevent the wax from drying out.
