On March 12, 2024, F?llkniven celebrated 40 years as a company and marks this event by introducing two new anniversary models, Phantom Anniversary and F1 Elmax Anniversary, both of which will be produced in limited series.

Phantom

The Anniversary Model Phantom is not only a good-looking folding knife, it also definitely has the right proportions between the handle and the blade and, of course, the blade lock is of the liner-lock type. The blade uses exceptionally advanced Swedish powder steel (Elmax from Uddeholm), and the edge grind is convex for the best performance. The handle scales are made from legally sourced desert ironwood from the southwestern USA, a very special type of wood because it does not float! Its density is 1.2 kg/dm?, which also provides a hard and durable handle material.

A few words about the design – as you can see, this is quite a straightforward construction in which Fallkniven follows the three Fs, a more than 100-year-old formula meaning that form follows function, and this is at the heart of the true Scandinavian approach to well-made all-purpose knives. The makers do not like gimmicks and extra details and prefer the user to be drawn to handling the knife because of its classic clean lines.

The anniversary set includes a round medallion plated with pure 24-karat gold, showing the Three Crowns, the small national coat of arms of Sweden. F?llkniven AB has permission from the Swedish Official Gazette to use the Three Crowns as a logo on its knives. The company has also been a supplier to the Royal Court of Sweden since 1999 and therefore in 2024 celebrates not only 40 years in knife manufacturing, but also 25 years as a royal court supplier.

Phantom is delivered in a gift box together with an exclusive multifunctional leather sheath with a belt clip, which can be worn both horizontally and vertically on the belt.
