In close collaboration with Crucible Industries, CPM SPY27 was developed, a powder metallurgy stainless steel containing a proprietary blend of alloys, including vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, nitrogen, and cobalt. This remarkable composition, enhanced by the strengthening effects of cobalt and the advanced crucible particle metallurgy process, is produced exclusively for Spyderco.
