Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight CTS-BD1N Black DLC Plain Black FRN C81PBBK2

ASPC81PBBK2

The Spyderco Para Military 2 is undeniably one of the most popular, recognizable, and widely carried knives in the folding knife industry. Now this iconic design is offered in a lightweight format that reduces the knife’s overall weight by more than 25 percent and adds enhanced grip security. The secrets behind its remarkable design begin with the fiberglass-reinforced injection-molded nylon (FRN) handle. Lighter than G10, it features the brand’s signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern for high traction and a non-slip grip. It also incorporates a Compression Lock locking mechanism that further reduces the knife’s weight while securely locking the blade in the open position during use. The blade features a full-flat grind and is made from CTS-BD1N stainless steel. To ensure discreet, comfortable carry while keeping the knife properly positioned for immediate access, the Para Military 2 Lightweight includes a deep-carry wire clip that is reversible for left- or right-side carry.
For those who work in environments where tactical discipline matters—and for those who simply prefer the practical look of an all-black knife—this Para Military 2 Lightweight features a discreet black diamond-like carbon (DLC) blade coating. In keeping with that theme, the lock bar of the simplified Compression Lock, the reversible deep-pocket clip, and all other handle hardware also have black coatings.
