Designed by renowned custom knife and blade maker Ed Schempp, the Retract is a dynamic folding knife that offers exceptional cutting performance. Its most distinctive feature is its dramatically curved, full-flat-ground blade. Made from 9Cr18MoV stainless steel and somewhat reminiscent of a Nepalese kukri, its negative angle significantly enhances the knife’s cutting leverage—especially on draw cuts. The curved blade is housed in a handle built with fully skeletonized stainless steel liners, textured with peel-ply G10 scales and a partial G10 backspacer. This solid construction forms the foundation of the knife’s dependable LinerLock mechanism, which is machined nearly flush to help prevent accidental closure. To balance low-profile carry and quick access, the Retract includes a lined lanyard hole and a deep-carry wire clip that is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry.
