Spyderco Yojimbo 2 CPM SPY27 Cobalt Blue G10 C85GPCBL2
ASPC85GPCBL2
Designed by renowned personal-defense expert Michael Janich, the Yojimbo™ 2 played a key role in popularizing the concept of the “tactical Wharncliffe.” This elite expression of it powers the design with Spyderco’s proprietary CPM® SPY27® blade steel. Offered only on selected Spyderco knives, this premium steel features an advanced alloy formula that includes vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen. These alloying elements are enhanced by the strengthening effects of the steel’s signature element—cobalt—and Crucible Particle Metallurgy’s state-of-the-art particle metallurgy process to create a blade steel that offers an impressive synergy of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. These qualities provide exceptional support for the ultra-sharp geometry of the Yojimbo 2’s hollow-ground Wharncliffe blade, which is housed in a handle with skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. The liners form the backbone of the knife’s high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and anchor its four-position pocket clip, which is fully configurable for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Like most other members of Spyderco’s elite CPM SPY27 family of knives, the handle scales of this Yojimbo 2 proudly feature the signature cobalt blue color.
