Casstrom No.3 Dangler XL
Casstrom No.3 Dangler XL
The Casstrom No.3 Dangler is an accessory that lets your knife hang freely lower from the waist, so you can move easily
and quickly remove the knife from your belt. The specially designed D-ring can also be used for other tasks.
Description:
Item No.: 10108
Many of our customers asked for an extended belt loop, a "dangler," so the knife could be easily accessible,
even when wearing a jacket or carrying a large backpack with a hip belt. With the Dangler, it becomes easy to sit down without the knife getting in the way.
When the sheath hangs lower, it can pivot at hip height, allowing the knife to follow the movement
of the leg smoothly, and if you tie it down, you can run, climb, and bend almost without noticing the knife.
We also designed the D-ring as a carabiner, which opened up many new functions and applications.
You can easily detach the knife without having to remove your belt,
move the knife to your backpack, for example, or simply take it off quickly if you are approaching a populated area.
The D-ring is made of strong 8 mm thick aluminum, and in tests the breaking strength exceeded 400 kg, which means
that you can use it for many different purposes, for example for hanging equipment, dragging an animal, or
attaching a dog leash. It can also be used for hanging a tarp or hammocks.
Please note that the D-ring must not be used for climbing, as a bad fall can create forces exceeding 400 kg,
even if the person is not heavy.
The belt loop is made of durable 3 mm thick brown cowhide leather.
The loop fits belts up to 6 cm wide.
The D-ring on the Dangler is for sheaths with a belt loop up to 34 mm wide.
