The Webfoot is a uniquely different approach to sharpening that can be used anywhere, sets up in seconds, and requires no oil, water, electricity, or complicated clamps or fixtures. It is made from a single piece of carbon steel and coated with Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) - a state-of-the-art super abrasive that is second only to diamond in hardness. Placing the wide end of the Webfoot on a flat surface and rocking it from side to side aligns its outer edges at the perfect 40-degree angle for knife blades. Simply hold the plane of your blade vertically and draw it through from heel to tip. The included ABS plastic base reduces this angle to 30 degrees for sharper edges and thinner, high-performance knives. Laid on its side, it provides the perfect 12.5-degree angle for sharpening scissors. With more than 15 square inches of abrasive-coated surfaces in various shapes and angles, the Webfoot can be used to quickly and easily sharpen a wide variety of tools with sharp and pointed edges, including those with serrated edges.
