THE SYSTEM consists of the two sleeping bags described above. Thanks to the system's low weight (about 3 kg total), it guarantees unmatched thermal performance with minimal packed size and weight. Defence 4 serves as the outer sleeping bag, while Tropen is used as the inner sleeping bag. Both bags fit into the Defence 4 compression sack. This combination of an outer bag with a central zip and an inner bag with a side zip provides maximum comfort in extreme conditions. The inner sleeping bag also serves as a liner. It is easy to wash and dries quickly. There is no need to wash the entire system.
