Hammock with Mosquito Net and Tarp Hennessy Hammock 4Season Survivorman Zip XL
Hammock with Mosquito Net and Tarp Hennessy Hammock 4Season Survivorman Zip XL
A fully equipped system including hammock, rainfly, mosquito net, ropes, and attachment straps.
Hennessy Hammock is honored to work with Canadian bushcraft icon Les Stroud in designing our new survival hammock. Les is known for handling harsh conditions, and our hammocks are built for the same purpose. He has used our hammocks for years, so this is a natural collaboration.
Les requested that lightweight survival gear be included, so the hammock comes with key essentials - a survival kit that conveniently attaches to the ridgeline in the corner of the hammock behind your head. We have also included a Survivorman bandana with detailed survival tips from Les.
The bandana is great reading for anyone considering a solo trip into difficult terrain. After all, the bright orange color can serve as a signal flag (dimensions are 1 x 1 m.) or be used as sun protection, a sling, and more.
This rugged hammock uses our latest 4Season design to protect your back from the cold in low temperatures and provide comfort in any environment. A large foam pad is included, and the double bottom allows for additional improvised insulation such as clothing, dry grass, leaves, etc. The survival kit also includes a thermal blanket for extra reflected warmth.
It also comes standard with the 70D Hex Fly, our largest rain tarp, for bad-weather protection and plenty of room to create your camp comfortably.
Please note: The 4Season hammock uses a different storage system. The hammock/foam pad must be stored in the compression sack, and the tarp must be stored in the SnakeSkins. This ensures that your hammock and pad will always be dry, while the wet tarp is stored in the SnakeSkins on the outside of your backpack. When you reach camp, set up the tarp first in the rain and then move underneath it to pitch the hammock in the dry.
What is included in the set:
All Hennessy hammocks come complete with an attached mosquito net, rain tarp, support ropes, and a stuff sack with setup instructions on the back. Hennessy Hammock also provides free standard 107 cm Tree Hugger straps to protect tree bark. Since these accessory straps are free, they are not included in the hammock weight.
The 4Season Survivorman Zip XL also includes an extra-large 91 cm wide foam pad and a survival kit with various essential items.
Contents of the survival kit:
Orange Survivorman bandana with Les Stroud survival tips, thermal foil blanket, fluorescent cord, compass, candle, mini LED light, whistle, fire starter and tinder, razor blade with needle and thread, zip pouch with Survivorman logo.
Attention!!! The SnakeSkins system accessory, a sleeve/case for quick, convenient, and clean packing, deployment, and storage of any Hennessy hammock, is NOT included in the set and is purchased separately!!!
