This is our “Original” Hennessy hammock model with upgraded features, including our patented asymmetrical shape and structural ridgeline, to provide exceptional comfort and a perfect setup every time.
The Scout comes with a larger asymmetrical rainfly. It is a great first hammock for young adventurers, scouts, and guides. To help children get a quality first hammock, we have kept this model at a special price for the past 15 years. 
Children under 12 years old should be supervised by an adult when using a hammock.
What is included in the set:
All Hennessy hammocks come complete with an attached mosquito net, rainfly, suspension ropes, and a stuff sack with setup instructions printed on the back. Hennessy Hammock also provides free standard 107 cm long “Tree Hugger” straps to protect tree bark. Since these accessory straps are free, they are not included in the hammock weight.
Patented features
Tom knew that the people of Central America sleep diagonally in their hammocks. So, with that knowledge, he changed the shape of the hammock into his patented asymmetrical design, which allows you to lie flat on the diagonal with excellent support under the lower back and knees.

Since the distance between trees is always different, the curve of the hammock is always different. The patented structural ridgeline ensures the same shape every time you set up your hammock. A guarantee that you will have the same comfortable bed every night and a perfect setup every time.
