• Easy-to-use display.
• The Steripen Ultra uses an internal battery that charges from any USB power source; connect the included USB cable and start charging from a solar panel, laptop, or car power port.

Using the SteriPen Ultra is a quick and efficient UV water purification process that takes between 48 and 90 seconds depending on the amount of water.
Instructions for use
Preparation: Remove the protective cap from the lamp. Make sure the sensors and lamp are clean and dry before starting.
Activation: Press the button once to purify 1 liter (90 seconds) or quickly twice for 0.5 liters (48 seconds). An icon will appear on the OLED display confirming your selection.
Immersion: Submerge the lamp in the water until the sensors (the metal plates above the lamp) are fully covered. The UV lamp will automatically light up upon contact with water.
Stirring: Stir the water continuously with the device during the cycle. This ensures that all microorganisms are exposed evenly to the UV light.
Completion: When the cycle is finished, the display will show a smiley face or a green check mark. If you see a red "X", purification was unsuccessful and you should repeat the process.
Maintenance: Dry the lamp and sensors with a clean cloth before replacing the cap. 
Important:
Water clarity: The SteriPen does not filter out mechanical impurities (sand, silt). If the water is cloudy, first strain it through a filter or cloth, as particles can "hide" bacteria from the UV light.
Charging: The device has a built-in lithium-ion battery that charges via USB. Monitor the charge level indicator on the display.
Safety: Do not look directly at the operating UV lamp and do not activate it outside of water (the sensors usually prevent this automatically).
