The Military model came about after Spyderco owner Sal Glesser was asked, „If your son were going into the army, what folding knife would you send him with?“ It certainly had to meet the requirements for a high-performance, lightweight folder designed for hard use.
Blade with a subdued black matte BodyCote finish, made from CPM-S30V steel, renowned for long-lasting edge retention and rust resistance. The laser-cut 14 mm opening hole in the non-reflective black blade is suitable for use with gloves.
