The Spyderco Manix 2 XL is a larger and even more capable expression of Spyderco’s proven Manix 2 design—presented in an ultra-corrosion-resistant format as a member of the acclaimed Salt series. The Manix 2 XL Salt’s broad leaf-shaped blade is precision crafted from CPM-MagnaCut. This advanced particle metallurgy steel challenges conventional steelmaking methods to deliver an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention, and exceptional corrosion resistance. Optimized for tactical applications, the blade features a full-flat grind and is coated with a non-reflective black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating to further enhance its “stealth” character and corrosion resistance. It is supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock mechanism housed in a handle with fully skeletonized stainless steel liners, black textured G10 scales, a reversible pocket clip, and all other components also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and finished with low-profile black coatings.
