Immediately after its debut in 1984, it became a preferred model among law enforcement officers. In this model, Spyderco combines the greatest possible blade length within the handle for high cutting power and a slim profile. The VG-10 blade is thicker at the tip for added strength and features a weight-reducing swedge along the spine. The all-stainless-steel handle is ideal for engraving or embossing. The steel clip positions the knife for tip-down pocket carry.
